What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning to improve socially significant behaviors. ABA focuses on modifying the environment to promote meaningful behavior change.

Goals of ABA

The goals of ABA include teaching new desirable behaviors and reducing undesirable behaviors.

Some skills that might be targeted are social skills, daily living skills, communication, play skills, leisure skills, self-advocacy skills, community skills, vocational skills, and motor skills.
